It's been a few years since the installation of your first ONO Module: would you say the purchase has been positive or negative?

"Positive! We installed the ONO Module 3 years ago, and to date, we can certainly say that we are satisfied with it: it has been essential for Just to introduce a system capable of ensuring maximum control over products, both in terms of inventory and flow."

Can you elaborate?

"ONO has simplified our lives: it has become the single access hub for operators tasked with retrieving low-rotation components, seamlessly integrating with the existing pick-to-light system we already used along the aisles. Our management system is now integrated with ONO/OS: the two systems exchange information in real-time, allowing the various pickers to find the desired items directly in the bay, as per the planned request."

What do you think has been the main benefit that ONO has brought to Just?

"First and foremost, ONO Lean Logistics has provided us with a top-of-the-line module (I refer mainly to the quality of materials and mechanics). But the ONO production server has also been able to integrate deeply with our management system: this way, we have managed to automate the storage and retrieval actions, making the module completely autonomous in forming the picking list, freeing up operators from this task as well."

In summary, introducing an ONO Module is worthwhile because...?

"It saves time and provides greater control over movements. The first benefit essentially comes from the ability to introduce automated picking. Furthermore, the ONO UI interface is very intuitive, so staff does not require special training to interpret the information provided by the software. And here's the second point: in this way, the staff is always aware of how many and which products need to be picked, and this also always happens under the guidance of the interface. All this, in turn, translates into time savings in order composition and so on. In short, thanks to ONO, we have triggered a virtuous circle!"
